Neutrogena Oil-Free Oil-Free Acne Stress Control, 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment
- Seems ok, need to use without toner to see possible negative effects
- Skin feels clearer somewhat, but possibly because of timing in monthly cycle
Neutrogena Triple-Action Toner Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 8 fl oz
x Stings after a week of use and leaves skin dry
x Appearance of oil bumps
x salicylic acid probably aggravated acne and its healing process
Gave above two products slightly more than one week of use but skin seems more calm when I stopped using them :|
Shiseido The Skincare Toner
- Felt kind of rich and didn't do much for my skin, but then, I was really stressed out in senior year
x DO NOT KEEP SKINCARE PRODUCTS FOR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS. Or end up with contact dermatitis :(
Shiseido Benefience
x Do not let your mother buy you skincare products, especially when you haven't seen her in a year or more.
Things that are Working or Have Worked
Acti-Biotic Sebo Gel
- perfect for Singapore weather because it is really light
- not so great for dry winter weather
- expensive as hell in the 'when I'm rich we'll talk' sense
ARTISTRY Essentials Hydrating Toner
- Got this for free at work A+++
- Possibly one of the more suitable toners I've used, but they discontinued this line the last time I checked. BUT WAIT I THINK THEY ARE SELLING THIS AGAIN BUT SEEMS EXPENSIVE (still cheaper than Shiseido even with shipping. But you see, Shiseido.)
ARTISTRY Clarifying Oil Control Toner
- Amazing, then they discontinued the line :| But my skin has probably changed since then.
Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Soap-Free Gel Cleanser
- Not too drying nor harsh but not hydrating either
- Feels clean after wash, but will not use first thing in the morning
Aveeno Daily Moisturizer, Ultra-Calming SPF 15
- Felt greasy first few times I used it, but kind of got used to it
- calming!
- will buy SPH 30 the next time
Pond's Deep Cleanser & Make-Up Remover with Cucumber Extract
- basically owns all the other makeup removers I've used in the face
- can remove eye makeup but do not use near eyes, stings (product says do not get in eyes, can tell why)
- tissue and rinsed off when removing makeup
- try tissue off only when no makeup is used
- get used to feeling all moisturized after rinsing off and it is absolutely AMAZING.
Shiseido Pureness Softener and Moisturizer
- felt pretty damn good, no allergic reactions THANK GOD
